HERITAGE 2020
Solaris was hand-harvested in late September 2020 and aged in Swedish and French oak barrels. This unfiltered, single-variety wine shows rounded oak tones. It reflects the traditional elegance of Thora wines. The Solaris wine is aged in French and Swedish barrels. This extended aging brings additional structure and complexity to the wine. It reveals flavours of stewed white fruit, vanilla, toasted bread, and sweet spices. Best enjoyed within 5 years.

Solaris Heritage 2020 is an unfiltered wine: 50% was aged for 8 months in a blend of Swedish and French oak barrels, while the remaining 50% was vinified in stainless steel tanks.
Terroir
Soil: Our vineyard sits on a unique mosaic of sandy and clay soils layered over ancient gneiss bedrock. Microclimate: Located 800 meters from the Kattegat Sea, the cool maritime influence brings freshness and vibrancy to Solaris. Proximity to the sea provides excellent airflow and moderate temperatures, ideal for slow maturation and balanced acidity.
